The Center for Regional Collaboration in Research and Education contributes to the enhancements of the University's education and research capability, as well as the encouragement of local industries and life-long learning of citizens by sharing the intellectual properties of Iwate University with the industrial world, as well as with the local society; thereby fulfilling the establishment of an intellectual creativity cycle.
The Center for Regional Collaboration in Research and Education started from this April, as a way for the University to collaborate with the local community and it has 5 major functions: Project and Management, Intellectual Property transfer, Life-long Learning, Joint Research, and Instrumental Analysis.
