Interuniversity Cooperation and Aid

Survey of seeds Collect information about seeds of innovation (such as patents, copyrights and know-how) from each IRU member, regardless of whether humanities or sciences, and make the members share such information so that it may help them to transfer technology and thereby contribute much to the local community. However, IRU members are under no obligation to provide information. Collect information about seeds of patentable ideas especially in life sciences of the members (hopefully, independently owned by NLU members), and make the members share such information so that it may facilitate technology transfer. However, NLU members are under no obligation to provide information.
Aid in marketing
  • - Introduce prospective customers to members and give advice on negotiation strategy.
  • - Give aid in negotiating for and executing every sort of contract.
  • - Aid members in creating intellectual property through interuniversity cooperation in such fields as medicine and engineering or medicine and agriculture.
  • - Devise policy aimed at contributing to the local community by making good use of research results of IRU members of humanities.

Matchmaking for seeds and needs
  • - Provide a place where researchers can get to know each other through an interuniversity cooperation program and thereby help researchers in addressing new research challenges.
  • - Join local governments in surveying local business needs and study the possibility of solving the problems by using seeds of novel ideas presented by IRU members.

IP seminars Make attendance via videoconferencing possible. Organize seminars (for internal personnel) on aid in creating life science IP and technology to transfer of the result IP as well as on the market trend.
